Without it there is darkness, at least during the night, no stoves will work, the coffee machine stays cold, water won't flow, heat does not come on, the refrigerator defrosts along with the deep freeze, the stereo remains silent. Without electricity nothing works, so you can imagine how important it is to ensure that all our electrical systems are functioning properly. As with most utility systems, the transformer stations, power lines, switchgear and building installation are usually out of sight, either far away, buried in walls or hidden in utility rooms. They only become of importance when they do not work.
